Our Story

       

L’Agence Private Staffing was founded by Carolane Smiley, who also serves as the chief executive officer of L’Agence « French for The Agency ». 

Carolane has two decades of experience as a Private Educator and Childcare Professional, serving ultra high-net-worth families, high-profile clients, and industry leaders throughout the United States and beyond.

She he has a background in Psychology and Medicine, with specialties in Human Development and Pediatrics.

In addition, Carolane received extensive trainings in Early Childhood Education, and different teaching and parenting philosophies, such as: Montessori, Waldorf/Steiner, Reggio Emilia, Pikler, Doman, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE).

Carolane acquired many certifications in Nutrition, Manners and Etiquette, CPR, First-Aid, AED, etc. 

She is also a polyglot, with fluency in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Latin, and Creole. She is a classically trained pianist, African drummer, art connoisseur, nature lover, world traveler, life long learner, entrepreneur, philanthropist and humanitarian.

Carolane has now dedicated herself to the betterment of the private service industry. She cannot wait to serve your family!
