This fun-loving and quiet Miami/Chicago-based family is seeking a flexible and collaborative Nanny to join them in caring for their infant.
- Location: Miami, FL
- Ages of children: 6 months old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit.
- Schedule: A full-time schedule guaranteeing 40 hours per week. Candidate can expect to work between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Flexibility for early mornings and evenings, and willingness to adjust the schedule to accommodate the family's need on occasion will be key in considering the right candidate.
- Compensation: The family is offering an hourly rate of $35-$45 and is comfortable to offer a compensation of $100-125k per annum dependent on candidate experience.
- Benefits: The family is providing a health insurance stipend, along with 2 weeks of paid time off, and paid holidays for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: The family is looking for a live-out candidate who live within a reasonable commute to their home in Miami.
- Other: A candidate who is able and willing to run some child-related errands while the baby naps would be ideal for this family. Ex: A quick run to the nearby grocery store to pick up some items for baby's meals. Ect. The candidate may also be dog-friendly as the family has furry baby who is hypoallergenic, 7 pounds, very friendly, and loves attention.
Household Dynamic:
- This quiet and fun-loving Chicago-based family is excited to welcome a new nanny to join their family team. They spend their winter in Miami, and make occasional trip there during the rest of the year. The family is very happy by the arrival of their baby boy, who is 6 months old now, joining their two young adult
daughters who attend college full-time. The baby has being under the care of a Newborn Care Specialist, and his parents are now ready to find the right nanny for him. The family looks forward to meeting someone who can actively engage with their baby through educational and playful activities, and help him reach his developmental milestones successfully.
- The family is planning on spending the majority of their time in Miami in starting in September 2025. Therefore, they are looking for a local candidate who can join their family on a temporary basis, for at least a month, between December-January 2024, while they spend time in their Miami home, with the intent of the position turning long-term when they settle in Miami 8 months later. The family lives right on the beach, they spend a lot of time in the water, and expect the nanny accompany them.

- This position is ideal for a career nanny with experience working with infants and toddler age groups. The family seeks a candidate who is trustworthy, reliable, flexible and passionate about engaging with babies and creating hands-on, interactive learning experiences to foster their baby’s growth and development. The family looks forward to working with someone who is active, enjoys the outdoors and spending time by the beach. A candidate who is well-versed in collaborating with parents in a role, and who has strong organizational instincts and good time management will seamlessly integrate into the family’s dynamic.
Responsibilities:
- The responsibilities for this role includes caring for everything pertaining to their infant, such as feeding, changing diapers, washing and sterilizing bottles, preparing fresh puree, organizing the child's areas, including but not limited to all other child-related tasks, creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, tidying, occasional errands, following routines, coordinating activities, tag-teaming with mom, ect.
- The family describe their baby boy as sweet, attentive, happy, and ready to rock-and-roll. He is been experiencing some sleep recession recently. While this is not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate with a sleep consultant background and/or some sort of experience with sleep training.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional childcare experience.
- Knowledge and experience with infant and toddler's developmental milestones .
- Knowledge and experience with sleep training.
- The ability to lift 35 pounds or more.
- Fully vaccinated and updated on boosters against COVID-19.
- Willingness to adjust the schedule to accommodate the family's needs.
- Eligibility to legally work in the US.
