Seasoned + Nurturing Nanny Needed For Growing Ohio Family

This busy and spontaneous family is seeking a very seasoned and experienced professional nanny to join their growing family. 

 

  • Location:  New Albany, OH right outside of Columbus, OH. 
  • Ages of children: 20 months old and Baby due in July 2025
  • Start date: As soon as they find the right fit.
  • Schedule:  This position guarantees 40+ hours a weeks. Candidate can expect to potentially work between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. 
  • Compensation: The family is offering an hourly rate of $35-$45 including overtime rate, dependent on candidate experience. 
  • Benefits: The family is providing standard industry benefits, such as health care, 2 weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, PTO, etc. 
  • Live-in/Live-out: This position is fully live-in. The family is providing 2 options for accommodation. The candidate can either live in their home, with plenty of space for them to have their own privacy. Or, the candidate is welcome to live in one of their property developments, around 20 minutes away from the family’s residence. 
  • Other: The family will consider out-of-state candidates as their main nanny, while having a local candidate to come in on a part-time basis to help out wherever needed.

The family has a sweet and happy toddler, who is full of energy, loves to explore, and fill their home with joy. They are excitingly expecting a new baby, due in July of this year. They have a very busy household. They enjoy exploring the culinary scene in their city, attending sporting, art and cultural events, and are very involved in their community. They also love spending time with their daughter and be hands-on with their family lives. They would love to find a nanny who can join forces with them as they raise their adorable children, someone who can help ease the balance of their professional, social and personal lives. 
    The family looks forward to meeting someone who can actively engage with the children through educational and playful activities while maintaining mindful boundaries.
  • Dad works outside of the home, but enjoys quality time with his family when his schedule allows. Mom is very organized and detailed-oriented, ensuring the household is running like a well-oiled machine.
  • The family enjoys traveling, and spends a lot of time in Palm Beach, FL. They take multiple trips a year, and expect the nanny to join them. The family fosters an organized and collaborative atmosphere in their home.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsibilities include both childcare and some family assisting tasks. Childcare-related tasks include creating an organized environment for the children to grow and thrive, including but not limited to tidying, organizing children’s areas, coordinating activities, meal preparation, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
  • Family assisting duties include light cleaning and organizing of common spaces, light meal planning and preparation, laundry, etc. 
  • The family has a housekeeping team that comes once a week. So, no heavy lifting and deep cleaning is required. They are just looking to work with someone who can contribute to the running of the household, and help maintaining a stable home environment for their sweet growing family.

 

Ideal Candidate

  • This position is ideal for a warm, caring, nurturing, reliable, and seasoned career nanny, with great experienced with the infant and toddler age groups, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive disposition. A candidate who can keep up with their active toddler, their newborn on the way, their on-the-go, spontaneous lifestyle, and their busy household.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of professional childcare experience.
  • Experience with infants and toddlers, with great understanding of their developmental milestones.  
  • Fully vaccinated and updated on boosters against COVID-19. 
  • Must be willing to relocate and live-in.
  • Must be comfortable with family assistance tasks. 
  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally. 
  • Eligibility to legally work in the US.
