Experienced + Organized Housekeeper/Cook Needed For Coral Gables FL Family

This close knit and hardworking family is seeking a very seasoned and hardworking professional housekeeper to join their family. 

 

  • Location:  Coral Gables, FL. The family is currently located in Toronto, Canada and they will be relocating to South FL during the summer. 
  • Size of Residence: 8,000 Square Feet 
  • Family Members: This family includes a mother, a father, 2 girls of the ages of 2 and 5 years old, and another one on the way. 
  • Number of Pets: No pets.
  • Number of Employees: The family will have a full time, live in Nanny working alongside you. 
  • Start date: July 1st, 2026
  • Schedule:  This position guarantees 40 hours a week. Candidate can expect to work from Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. 
  • Live-in or Live-out: This position is fully live out.

  • The family has two sweet and well behaved girls, and another one on the way, a goal oriented father, and a dedicated mother. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsibilities include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, floors, polishing furniture.
  • Deep cleaning bathrooms including: toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, mirrors, and floors.
  •  Deep cleaning organizing kitchen areas: countertops, appliances, sinks, refrigerators, cabinets, and washing dishes as needed. 
  • Cleaning and managing bedrooms, and bedding. 
  • Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Sweeping outdoor patios or entryways as needed.
  • Managing laundry: wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens, including fine fabrics care. 
  • Ironing and pressing garments as needed.
  • Sorting laundry by types, categories, and family member. 
  • Ensuring proper storage of linens and clothing, and maintain wardrobe organization.
  • Managing waste and recycling by emptying trash cans, replacing liners, maintaining a clean disposal areas, sorting and disposing of recyclables appropriately, ensuring waste collection and disposal adhere to household guidelines.

  • Organizing, tidying, keeping all rooms organized, clutter-free, and welcoming.
    Arranging all personal items neatly, such as clothing, books, children’s toys and play area. 

  • Organizing pantry, service and storage areas, and ensuring household supplies, cleaning supplies, and all household essentials and inventory are always in stock.  

  • Cooking delicious, healthy and nutritious meals for the family on occasions.

Qualifications:

 

  • At least 3 years of professional housekeeping experience. 
  • Comfortability working in a home with small children.  
  • Fully vaccinated and updated on boosters against COVID-19. 
  • Willingness to sign a NDA. 
  • Ability to to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing

    for long periods of time.

  • Eligibility to legally work in the US.
