This loving and dynamic family is seeking an exceptional and experienced Private Educator/Governess to join them in guiding their preschooler's education. 

  • Location: Palm Beach, FL
  • Ages of children: 3 years old 
  • Start date: As soon as they find the right fit. 
  • Schedule:  A rotational schedule of 3-4 days on and 3-4 days off. 
  • Compensation: The family is offering competitive salary commensurate with candidate experience and background. Their priority is finding the right fit. 
  • Benefits: The family is providing a health insurance stipend, including dental and vision, along with paid personal time off, and paid holidays. 
  • Live-in/Live-out: This is a live-out position. The family is looking for a local candidate who lives within a reasonable commute to their home. Or a candidate who is willing to relocate for the role. A relocation package will be offered.
  • Other: The family finds it more appropriate to have shorter rotations while the child is still young. But, there is a possibility for longer rotations when the child gets older, and understand the concept of having someone close to them go away for longer periods of time.

  • This warm and welcoming family in Palm Beach is seeking an exceptional and extraordinary Private Educator/Governess to serve as a guide and pillar in  their preschooler's education. This unique position is for a candidate with training and knowledge in progressive teaching and parenting philosophies and pedagogies such as Montessori, RIE, Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, Pikler, etc. The candidate will be responsible to create a nurturing and intellectually stimulating environment fostering the child's neurological, intellectual, emotional, psychological, and social development. 
  • This family travels frequently, domestically and internationally, for work and to their other homes. So, the candidate should be able to smoothly transition their work from one location to the next, while provide continuity and consistency of care and education for the child.

Responsibilities:

  • The key responsibilities for this role include creating an individualized curriculum following the Montessori, Waldorf, RIE and other similar methodologies for the child, providing the child with very engaging and hands-on learning experiences, cultivating a positive and respectful learning environment for the child, and fostering a conscious and mindful childcare approach that meets the child’s specific needs.

     

  • This role involves regular communication with the parents, providing updates,  collaborating on educational and childcare strategies, organizing educational activities and fun outings, and incorporating practical life experiences into the child’s learning and development milestones. 

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of teaching experience in a private setting.
  • Knowledge and experience with preschoolers' developmental milestones 
  • Experience working in HP and UHNW households.
  • Experience traveling with families.
  • Experience working ROTA schedules.
  • Willingness to sign an NDA and other agreements. 
  • Ability to pass extensive background checks and drug screenings.
  • Eligibility to legally work in the U.S.A.
