This down-to-earth and hardworking NYC family is seeking a capable and equally hardworking professional nanny to join their team.
- Location: New York, NY
- Ages of children: 6 months old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 60 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Flexibility for overnights, weekends, and frequent travel will be asked in advance and appreciated.
- Compensation: The family is offering an hourly rate of $40 and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation just below $150,000 per year dependent on candidate experience.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing health, vision, and dental insurance, along with 2 weeks of paid time off, 6 paid personal time off, paid federal holidays.
- Live-in/Live-out: This position is live-in while on schedule. A private en-suite with a large bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet will provided for the nanny in the family homes. Private accommodation will also be provided while traveling.

- This nice and career focused family is happy to welcome thrilled to welcome their daughter to the world. They enjoy spending lots of time together when the parents are at home. They have been working with their Newborn Care Specialist since the arrival of their daughter, and have nothing but praise for her. They are now in search of a new full-time nanny to provide exceptional care for their daughter long term. Both parents work extremely long hours away from the home, and have very demanding careers. They look forward to finding a nanny they can build a strong and thrusting relationship with, as they continue to balance their professional and personal lives.

The family spends most of their time in NYC, and loves to visit their home in Vero Beach, Florida as much as possible during the winter months. And while in NYC, they also take frequent trips to other destinations, such as ski trips to Aspen, CO, beach vacation to Saint Barts and Turks and Caicos for some time in the sun. The nanny is expected to join them on all family trips with enough notice. The parents also travel for work, for professional trips, only one parent travels at a time, leaving one parent and the nanny at home to care for the infant. The grandparents and aunts and uncles. So, they need a candidate who is comfortable with that dynamic.

This position is ideal for someone who is experienced, hands-on and excited to support dual career parents as they raise their lovely daughter. The family looks forward to having a collaborative and trusting relationship with their nanny, with an open line of communication.
Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities include creating a safe environment for their baby to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to homemade purée for the baby, tidying, organizing of the baby’s areas, and errands, coordinating outings and activities for the baby, organizing play dates, music classes, etc. The family has a housekeeper who also assist with the baby’s laundry and cleaning her nursery. So, no heavy lifting required.
- They describe their baby as very easy. She enjoys playing by herself, loves to eat all her delicious meals, and sleeps through the night for a total of 12 -13 hours. She is transitioning to 2 naps a day instead of 3, and each nap is between 2 - 2.5 hours. So, there is significant amount of downtime during the day. However, the nanny would still be required to sleep with the monitor in her room.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a nanny who is open to warm up dinner already prepared by their private chef who comes once a week and prepares delicious meals for everyone, and help set up the table and clean up after dinner. The nanny is always invited to eat dinner with the family.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional childcare experience.
- Knowledge and experience with infants.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- A degree in Psychology is highly preferred.
- A valid passport and experience traveling with families.
- Fully vaccinated and updated with boosters against COVID-19 and other immunizations.
- Eligibility to legally work in the United States of America.
